You influences or is influenced?

Have you heard the joke about the little boy who stood in front of the fish tank trying to hypnotize? He wanted the fish started imituar their expressions. Time passed, and suddenly the boy is that he was pouting, just like goldfish!

The Bible says that "evil communications corrupt good manners" (1 Cor 15:33).

The Christian must be the salt of the earth (Matt. 5.13).

Serves Salt to taste and season. Even as a pozinho so thin and almost invisible, its presence in food makes all the difference. Moreover, his absence is also perceived soon.

So it must be a Christian. Bringing good spice to the world. Making a difference, positively influence the people around us.

The Christian must be the light of the world (Matt. 5:14).

The importance of light is very obvious. Without light we stumble. Without light we can not see our own image in a mirror. Without light we can not see the beauty of creation.

The light protects us, it allows us to see what the darkness hid before. As Christians, we live in a world full of darkness. Therefore, one of our roles is to be light we passed.

You have illuminated the path of giving people a good witness for Christ?
Or you have been like a lamp placed under the bed, hidden, almost erased?
Beware of companies.

Psalm 1 is very important to teach us how we should live to influence people and not be influenced by them.

See:

One. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of mockers.

2nd. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.

We highlight three attitudes we should avoid:

a) Do not walk in the counsel of the ungodly.

The wicked follow their own life systems that are not based on God's Word.

What kind of advice you receive from someone who does not search the Bible for the answers to life's dilemmas?
b) Do not stop in the way of sinners.

The Christian must not stop, or stop and pay attention to the way that the wicked follow. The path will lead them to ruin them, and our goal as Christians is to influence them with the message of God's Word, and not be influenced by them.

Remember: do not do what the wicked do.

c) Not to sit of the scornful.

When you sit with scoffers you are willing to listen and to do what they do. But before proceeding, which is mocked? Is mocking taunt!

Beware of scoffers! The Bible warns us not to sit with them to the point of feeling comfortable to do evil to them. We always love people, but remember that you are who should influence them and not vice versa.

The attitude to take.

The attitude to take is in Psalm 1.2, ie, think of the Word of God constantly. You enjoy every moment to fill our minds with good things, spiritual, biblical.

Principle: The more we read the Bible and pray, the more chances we have of positively influencing people, showing them the character of Christ.

Task: Make a list of activities that not only build and they spend their time. Then make a weekly plan to take this time reading the Bible, good Christian books, listen to or watch recorded biblical messages, etc..
